Joo Pedro Cavaco Cancelo, is a professional footballer from Portugal who was born on May 27, 1994. Cancelo plays as a full-back(majorly a right-back) for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich while on loan from the English club Manchester City. He also plays for Portugal at the international level.

Before he joined the neighborhood team Barreirense and experienced his first glimpse of competitive football, young Cancelo was among the youngsters in his community who took advantage of the entertaining but chaotic game of street soccer.

He signed a one-year loan agreement with Valencia on August 20, 2014, with the option for the club to purchase him for €15 million. He earned his La Liga debut for the team on September 25, 2014. He permanently relocated to Valencia on May 25, 2015, for a €15 million transfer fee.

He began his spell with Inter Milan on loan on August 22, 2017, and throughout the 2017–18 Serie A season, he was named in the league’s Team of the Year. He began playing in the domestic league on August 18 after Juventus signed him on a five-year deal for €40.4 million on June 27, 2018. In his debut and lone season, he won both the Seria A league trophy and the Supercoppa Italiana.

“However, my thanks go to everyone who was part of my journey and to you, the fans. You’ve always supported me. I loved wearing the jersey of the German national team.’

In my opinion, he is the greatest goalkeeper German football has ever produced.
