Joo Pedro Cavaco Cancelo, is a professional footballer from Portugal who was born on May 27, 1994. Cancelo plays as a full-back(majorly a right-back) for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich while on loan from the English club Manchester City. He also plays for Portugal at the international level.

Before he joined the neighborhood team Barreirense and experienced his first glimpse of competitive football, young Cancelo was among the youngsters in his community who took advantage of the entertaining but chaotic game of street soccer.

Joao Cancelo’s Play at International Level

Cancelo has played for Portugal in a variety of age divisions on the international stage. For instance,  he has competed at the U16 and U17 down to the  U21, and senior levels for Portugal. In 2016, he made his official Portugal senior debut.
