Federico Santiago Valverde Dipetta was born on July 22, 1998, in Montevideo, Uruguay. Playing mainly as a central midfielder and right winger, Valverde is an Uruguayan professional footballer who plays for both Real Madrid and the Uruguay national team.

Valverde’s parents are Julio Valverde and Doris Valverde, who it is believed encouraged him to play football. Given that Uruguay’s capital city, Montevideo, used to be part of the Spanish Empire, Federico may have Spanish ancestry.
