David Beckham was born 2nd May, 1975 as the second child to Sandra Georgia and David Edward Beckham

He grew up in the East London called Leytonstone. Impassioned by the sport, he dreamed about being a professional football player.

He made his way to United in 1991 after having his youth career with local Ridgeway Rovers.

His senior debut came in ’92 around the time of the famous “Fergie’s Fledglings”. In the opener of the 1996 season, he scored a lob from the halfway line.

He won six Premier league titles and an European Cup during his time with the Red Devils. Due to his glamorous lifestyle, his relationship with Ferguson deteriorated. Ferguson once kicked a boot that struck Beckham in the eye.

He made his debut for England at the ’98 World Cup, though manager Glen Hoddle used him as a substitute.

Another came up in Euro 2000 when he raised the middle finger to the fans after being taunted by the fans.

Beckham joined Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo and Raul in a squad known as Galacticos. Real struggled to win trophies in Beckham’s first three seasons at the club. He had some solid performances and led La Liga in assists in 2005.
Real lost surprisingly to Arsenal in the last 16 of the ’06 UCL. Perez resigned as President and Real veered away from the era of the Galacticos.

Under new manager Fabio Capello, he was out of favour. However, he made a comeback in the second part of the season as Real won its first league title in four years.

During his final season with Real, he joined LA Galaxy.

He missed the 2010 World Cup and a big part of the season for his new team.

In 2013, he signed a five month deal with PSG helping them claim a Ligue 1 title. He retired from football at the end of the season.
