Substitutions were made with Amad Diallo coming in for Dalot, Benjamin Sesko for Mason Mount, with the Red Devils desperately searching for an equalizer, but lacked the finishing cut.

While Havertz replaced Gyokeres, Madueke replaced Martinelli, and Mikel Merino came in for Declan Rice towards the end of the game for the Gunners. There was nothing significant from the Gunners as they tried to maintain possession and maintain their one goal lead.

Over the transfer window, Chelsea and Manchester city have been busy with each team looking to make reinforcements and strengthen their team ahead of the new football season.
